True to the soul, raw garage pop/rock/surf. All too often bands fall into the stereotypical patterns in these genres and fail to innovate or change it up. Growl does both of those things and is an invigorating breath of fresh air to a genre that I hold dearly. Their live shows are very, very good to add to an already solid repertoire.
